    col - cost of living

    my husband isn't getting a cost of living increase - in fact, he was happy to take a new job that actually has less benefits than his old one - he's not crazy - he's happy to be working!

    what are taxpayers getting in return for raises we can't afford? a higher ranked school district so our home values will go up? we're no jericho or syosset and never will be.

    let the teachers hold halloween hostage. better yet, let them focus on teaching so parents don't have to.
