Plainview; Exercise Available Right on Your Own Sidewalk

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Not All Jobs Get a Snow Day":

I work in Manhattan all day until 7pm and I still managed to shovel - i shoveled, my wife and kids helped, etc. I think alot of people don't shovel in Plainview because they can't be bothered. If your neighbor is elderly then you should help that neighbor out and shovel their sidewalk. Shoveling is good exercise. No one should be forced to walk out in the middle of the street because the sidewalk wasn't shoveled.

Not All Jobs Get a Snow Day

The other half were in Manhattan working because they can not afford to take off. There school tax bill is due in May. Remember some of us do not get off at 3:30 .Our jobs were also were not shut down.

Needed Now-----Community Spirit!

I think we have a lot of elderly residents. I think its nearly impossible for them to shovel driveways...let alone sidewalks. The cost for my driveway to be shoveled was A LOT OF MONEY and I couldn't do the sidewalk. When my kids were younger, I sent them to a neighbor to help shovel their driveway and sidewalks when weather was bad. We need some more community spirit in that area...in my opinion!
