  2. How does Liberty Science Center compare to the NY Hall of Science in Queens?

  3. rock climbing, gaga, ice skating, baking, bake dog biscuits for the dogs at the town shelter, Air and Space Museum....it has not been very cold so you can probably still do some outdoor stuff as well

  4. read with your child. Play board games with them. Teach them to play card games like old maid and go fish. Spend quality time with YOUR child. Why do you have to rely on programs to keep your child busy?

Why the judgement? Nothing better to do with your day? All of the things you mentioned make for great suggestions without the attitude and tone. Sometimes it is nice to get OUT OF THE HOUSE from time to time.

  7. If you want to take a day trip that's fun for the kids, take a ride to East Hanover, New Jersey (near Livingston) to play Magiquest.

  8. To 6:18AM on January 2nd,

I've noticed at least one adversarial comment on most of this blog's threads. It's likely the same person who, for whatever the reason is looking to stir things up.

Suzala works so hard at keeping this blog going. She's not paid for it and has no vested interest other than giving us an ongoing place to discuss issues, good and bad. I just ignore whatever rudeness I find here. What's disturbing is that there's at least one person who is looking to denegrate Suzala's hard work, no solutions, no camraderie, just creating arguments and insults at every opportunity. Suzala, you deserve better than that.

  9. Yes, vacations give us time to either do nothing, enjoy some of the good ol' fashioned games or plan something on our "bucket list." Hope everyone enjoyed doing what they like best!
