Plainview Police Precinct to be Shut Down?

I just found out from a neighbor that Nassau county executive Edward Mangano is planning on closing the 8th police precinct. This is something that we should be outraged and concerned about . Judy Jacobs needs to be contacted by all of us . The last thing we need is for the police precinct to be closed

    Where is the 8th precinct located? Is that the one in Woodbury? I agree we all should be making an issue of this. If you can tell me the exact location, I can rally more people behind this.

    So if the 8th precint is closed (and this affects me as I am south of OC Rd) what precint takes over for them? Anyone know?
