Administration Needs to Address Parental Concerns Better

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "A Question on the Asst. Superintendent":

I posted an earlier comment in support of Ms. Gierasch. My opinion has changed drastically. She, as well as other administrators in this district, need to develop stronger skills in speaking to parents. She's probably quite comfortable here as she knows how to divert parental concerns but is unable to listen and effect change. To her, as with others, it's all about defending what's not defend able, covering up what shouldn't be covered up and although this could never be proven, manipulating the district's test scores so it appears that quality education is taking place. If enough people complain, it's possible she won't be here very long but parents have to be willing to speak up.
