I'm a teacher in another school district. Our contract is not up for another two years. We've already decided our wilingness to go without a raise if the economy is still so bad when our time comes to renew. We NEVER do some of the things the PCT has done this year, NEVER!!!! Our allegiance is to the children. Our administration and parent body knows this and thus they treat us accordingly. It's a shame that there are so many in this district with such a sense of entitlement. I hope everyone realizes the PCT does not speak for all teachers on Long Island.

ReplyDeleteIt is nice to know that there are some schools out there that do not look only for the dollar signs . I can only hope that our schools can somehow change to a school system like yours. :-}What school district is that? any homes for sale?
