The Brentwood Superintendent in Newsday was quoted as saying about the potential budget problem in his school: "This is a very difficult position, because the community can not stand a double digit tax increase, but if we all work together, all share the pain, then we can work something out that will not overburden this community and that will minimize job losses" end of quote.That is what I call a community that works together for the benefit of the children, parents , and teachers .
