New School Year, Same Old Teacher Picketing?- Inquires Resident.

A few weeks before school starting, the rumors are starting of school "informational picketing" again. Any thoughts? Is the PCT going to do this again? I've had it. I'm moving if this happens.

    Mr Rosenfeld, the PCT President reads this blog so I am sure that he will be able to squash any rumors and tell us whether he has reached an agreement(to which the BOE will likely cave in once again).

    HOW IS YOUR CHILD'S SCHEDULE ?
    Year after year we are inundated with scheduling problems for our child . It always seems as though the adminstrators ignore most of our concerns or requests for our child in the school. I would like to know what other parents have experienced

    We have been unable to settle on a new contract with the Plainview-Old Bethpage School District. We continue to try to do so. We have elected to open school uneventfully, while trying to find mutually acceptable solutions to the issues that divide us.

    Hopefully, like other school districts the PCT will be reasonable and see fit to make concessions that will ease the financial burdens our residents are feeling and the financial contraints our district will have as well.
