I'm still voting against the budget. My children's experience in the Plainview schools is mediocre at best. They don't benefit from anything the district has to offer. Why should I vote for a tax increase to continue an already substandard education?

I agree . I am voting no on the budget and also urging my neighbors to vote no and not to vote for BOE members running for re-election. They do not deserve out vote of confidence. We need new members in there who are aware of the fiscal realities that surround us
