  1. Taken from the latest PCT:
"You can show yourappreciation for their efforts by returning yourVOTE/COPE contribution to them immediately.
This year’s recommended contribution has been
kept at $40 in light of the fact that we have yet to achieve a contract."

    Dear PCT.
In light of the fact that I do not have a contract and I am not currently employed at all, I cannot give you a raise.

  2. Yes, it is ashame it has come to this, that a teacher is now contractually bound to continue all of the past goodwill. These are things the teacher should have thought through more carefully before engaging in a war with the community. When you shine a light on yourself don't expect for it all to look so pretty. Hopefully the teachers never get the increases they are demanding but if they do, I hardly think it will be worth the damage they have done for all throught out the school district.

  3. Ms. Weinkrantz, you are commended for all you do for the children, but really, you have to ENDURE our children? Our children are your neighbor's cat? ENDURING our children is your job! as you said, you're at the top of your wage scale so you get paid well to ENDURE a bus load of 2nd. graders singing on their way to the bronx zoo. My how you express your affection for our children then in the same breath you and your collegues choose to use them as pawns in your negotiating tactics! SHAME ON YOU MS. WEINKRANTZ and all your fellow union members. Your fight is with the board not the parents or their children. Again your leader and representatives have chosen to make this UGLY!
