Consensus is consensus. There are more parents than teachers - take a vote and see how the chips fall. Of course parents would actually have to go to a PTA meeting to do that...

ReplyDeleteThe teachers are asking the school board to meet with the negotiating committee. Teachers are working people who deserve to be treated with respect; like any other profession. They have standards to answer to and they are evaluated every year by their administrators. I have not witnessed anyone "prancing around". Whatever happened to "freedom of speech"? Perhaps you missed school that day or you did not listen to your teachers when they explained that concept.
