What alternative do some residents have?
Should residents be forced to move somewhere else because of the fiscal irresponsibility of the school district. Should children be forced to say goodbye to their friends because their parents can no longer afford to live here? When do we say enough is enough with these contracts that have outpaced just about every other profession on long island and everywhere else? You are right , you should be careful of how you vote. Do not be wavered by the threats of austerity. The reality is that our district will be forced to cut programs when we can not afford the excessive contracts that have been agreed to. I can only hope that we get a record turnout at the voting booth. The time has come!
