Your characterization of an entitlement system in our tax structure is brilliant.
In all fairness though to many teachers (not all), their work goes beyond the 6 hour work day (planning at home, etc.)

Thank you for volunteering to be "fair...to many teachers," but you have no idea of the hours and hours of grading, planning, and the writing of those critical college recommendation letters--you know, the ones that make or break a student's college application--that teachers spend, night after night, and weekend after weekend. If teachers were to limit their work hours to just the hours of the school day, those letters would never get written.
